Nightlife in Indonesia can’t get more chill, there is so much to do. You can choose from many clubs to dance and party the night off or sip on some fancy cocktails at a bar. It is essential to full your tummy before we start partying hard, night markets give us various options on just one street! Kota Tua is widely known by tourists as a destination to visit while in Jakarta. At night, this area appears to be more vibrant packed by citizens that are likely to wander around. This place is particularly enjoyable for those who are food connoisseurs. Enhance your taste buds by trying local dishes such as soto ceker (local chicken feet soup), fried rice vendors, satays, seafood, noodles, chicken porridge, and the must-try dessert martabak Pecenongan 65A. Their operational hours start from 6 PM to 2 AM.

Basque Bar

Basque is not the most impressive or the most beautiful bar in Jakarta. Most customers are foreigners, either ex-pats or tourists, and there are also a lot of Indonesian girls. Many are just office girls who want to have fun, but there are some prostitutes as well. The music is usually a mix of famous pop, rock, and hip-hop songs. On weekdays, from Sunday to Thursday, it is much quieter. Then, the focus is on the restaurant, which serves Spanish food and Tapas.

It is conveniently located in the heart of the city and it offers fantastic views of Jakarta by day or by night. Below Cloud, you’ll find some chic but expensive restaurants (Gaia, Salt Grill, etc). Social House
If you want to be surrounded by models and celebrities, having a night out in Social House might be for you. They have a huge selection of drinks, with cocktails starting at Rp 95,000, beers at Rp 50,000. You will need at least Rp 250,000 for a drink and some appetizers on a night out. Famously known as SoHo, they have a nice view of Plaza Indonesia’s roundabout.
